Heather Crichton: Beauty Therapist

I studied for 3 years at Mary Reid International School of Beauty here in Edinburgh, gaining both NVQ level 2 and 3 qualifications in Beauty Therapy. I graduated not long after with the coveted Mary Reid International Beauty Therapy Diploma.

My first job in the beauty industry was in Management for 3 years, working in a beauty Salon just outside Edinburgh.

At the turn of the century I joined a young, dynamic team of therapists in a top health club working with Thalgo, Aveda and Jessica Nails. After gaining the experience I needed, I began employment working in a pilot store for Boots male grooming. The “men only” store provided wet shaving and hair styling along with facials using Decleor, Aramis, American Crew and M.O.P.

Shortly after I began my career with Virgin Atlantic Airways, treating the rich and famous on their long-haul adventures. Feel free to ask who I treated, I have some fabulous stories!

In 2005 I joined the Elemis team in Harvey Nichols, again in Management. I regularly performed express treatment facials, using the stunning Elemis products.

My journey has taken me to here – Raspberry Beauty! We opened in 2007 specialising in products produced by Calgel, Dermalogica skin and body care, fake bake and Naturasun. Feel free to pop in for a Dermalogica face map or a quick eyebrow shape as appointments are not always necessary.
